Meet New Boys Lacrosse Coaches

Hi Patrick Henry Lacrosse Families!
My name is Blake Crossman, and I am honored to serve as the new Head Coach of the Patrick Henry Boys Varsity Lacrosse Program. I am excited to meet everyone soon and to continue building this program into one of the top teams in San Diego County.
Brief About Me:
· San Diego native and Grossmont High School alumni (Adidas All-American 2008 & 2009)
· NCAA Division II player at Dominican University of California (2009-2014)
· Played in the UK English Premier League (2014-2016)
· Coaching experience: Grossmont Warriors (2016-2017), Head JV & Assistant Varsity Coach at St. Augustine High School (2017-2025)
· Current coach with Boys High School LaxDawgs and GWB Middle School
Assistant Coach:
I am thrilled to announce that Trent Schulte will be joining as Assistant Varsity Coach.
· San Diego native, Coronado HS standout (3x All-American, 2x CIF Open Division Champion 2012-2015)
· NCAA Division III player at Ohio Wesleyan (3x NCAA All-American 2015-2018)
· Coaching experience: LaxDawgs (2017-2022), Coronado HS Assistant (2019-2021), Defensive Coordinator at SDSU (2021-2024), leading SDSU to their first two national championship appearances
Our Philosophy:
We believe being a Student-Athlete means academics come first and athletics come second. Our goal is to develop not only strong players but also confident, accountable, and resilient young men, both on and off the field. Our program will be built on hard work, respect, and continuous growth.
