Patrick Henry Girls team grew two fold this year, going from seven to fourteen. Most are novices and a few wrestled with the Patriot Middle School Wrestling Team. The varsity girls had their first tournament this weekend at UC High School and the Novice girls participated in their second tournament.

Girls wrestled hard showcasing what they learned in the past few weeks. They had some great wins and some losses that they will learn from. Overall, they placed 12th out of 21 teams with four placers. Our Novice Division Champion was Kinsley Bannister. Varsity girls placers included Maverick Garcia (3rd), Teagan Samimi (4th), Aubrey Lund (6th).

The team’s next match is a League Match with Crawford at Patrick Henry on Dec 17th and their next tournament will be January 3rd at Clairemont. We look forward to the girls keeping the momentum and improving on their success!
